Nationally prominent leaders in all aspects of American life have lived in each Westchester community. Women born and raised in Westchester and women who settled in the county because of its proximity to Manhattan, natural beauty, fine schools, tight-knit neighborhoods, and rural charm. This 60-minute illustrated presentation by Barbara Davis features a sampling of the businesswomen, artists, scientists, activists, athletes, authors, and others whose work and lives left a significant legacy.
