Chanel Murray, M.Ed, is an educator, writer, literacy specialist, and advocate for racial equity. She is the author of All Black Errythang Poems and All Black Errythang: A Discussion and Action Guide. Her poetry book is a #1 new release on Amazon and features subjects related to Black history, Black hair, Black names, gentrification and reparations. The accompanying action guide contains thought provoking questions to unpack the poems. It also includes actions readers can take to learn more about those topics while supporting Black owned businesses allowing us to not just talk about it, but to BE ABOUT IT!

She is the co-founder and director of Black Gems-an empowering program that provides children and adults of the African diaspora with an opportunity to learn Black history from an African centered lens. Whether it's STEM, the arts, or education, the core of her work centers around addressing systemic barriers and creating accessible opportunities for the Black community.
