Carter G. Woodson Home National Historical Site

In February 1926, Dr. Carter G. Woodson launched the celebration of "Negro History Week," the precursor to Black History Month. Join us for this special ranger talk from the Carter G. Woodson Home National Historic Site in Washington, DC to learn more about Dr. Woodson and the contributions he made to the study and celebration of Black History
