Michelangelo’s work on two masterpieces in paint and stone the Sistine Chapel and and his sculpture of Moses are unsurpassed examples of perfection, while Giovanni Battista Moroni’s portraits of Renaissance Italy’s movers and shakers made him one of the most sought after portrait artists in Italy during his lifetime.
