Funerary Art: Using Art to Commemorate Loved Ones Who Have Passed.

Artist Samer Akroush tragically lost his brother Andrew to a terrible car accident which deeply impacted his and his family's lives. In his journey to hold his brother in remembrance, Samer researched historical art practices to honor those who have passed and thus began his journey towards remembrance and healing by centering Andrew in his unique body of artistic work.
