This free virtual presentation is offered in collaboration with the Yonkers Neighborhood Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NNORC) and the Crestwood Branch of the Yonkers Public Library.

Dr. Thaofiq Ijaiya practices pulmonary medicine at the New York Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester with

practice located in Eastchester, New York. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the division of Pulmonary, Critical care and Allergy at Columbia University Medical Center, New York. His residency and chief residency was at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore New Rochelle. He underwent
fellowship training at SUNY Downstate Health Science University. He is board certified in pulmonary and critical care. He also has a background in public health and epidemiology. His areas of interest include asthma, COPD, lung infections, sleep apnea
and mechanical ventilation.
