Event Details
YPL is hosting a Superhero Dance Party for adults aged 21 and over with special needs and/or disabilities. Come dressed as your favorite superhero or anime character to meet new people, dance, sing, and enjoy yourself. The event will feature a safe, sensory-friendly environment, and the library’s Sensory Room will be available for those needing a quieter space. There will be food, drinks, a photo booth, DJ Nitro, and a costume contest with prizes. Friends and family are welcome to join, but they must also be 21 or older. This is a free event for adults 21+ with developmental disabilties and their family and friends.

Event schedule:
- 6:00 pm: Networking with food and drinks
- 6:30 pm: Zumba lesson
- 7:00 pm: Dance Party begins with DJ!
- 8:00 pm: Costume Contest
This event is part of Yonkers Comic Book Cosplay Convention held on Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Riverfront Library.
