Kids' Urban Gardening Series, Part 2

We're partnering with For the People and Kids, Inc. for an exciting three-part, fully bilingual gardening series for kids ages 5 to 12! How does a garden grow? How can you grow plants without any dirt? Why is eating food from a garden important? Learn the answers to all those questions and more! Registration for each session is required. Walk-ins will be accepted if space is available, first-come first serve.

• Part 1, 9/14: Introduction to Urban Gardening
  Make seed ball to take home!
• Part 2, 9/21: Understanding Aeroponic Gardening
  Plant a seed in a compostable pot to take home!
• Part 3, 9/28: Eat the Rainbow
  Taste different fruits and vegetables! They may not be suitable for all dietary restrictions.

For children 8 and under, parents must remain in the Children's Room for the duration of the program. Please come in comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty. This program is funded by a Westchester County Fitness Grant.
