This presentation produced by Gail Houston of The Sankofa Institute for Training & Integrative Services, Inc. will use the art of storytelling along with film or video to chronicle one of the ways Africans handled their captivity through non-verbal communication, a.k.a. body movement and grand gestures creating signs & symbols. A facilitated talkback with Dr. Bonnie Harrison, LMHC and CEO of SITIS will encourage the audience to express their feelings about what they experienced during the presentation.
