We’ll share coffee, treats, and conversation before settling in at 10:30 for a presentation by local Crestwood Professor Val Franco. Val will give a talk on the Bronx River in Art and History. Stretching more than 23 miles from Valhalla to the Bronx, the Bronx River was once a vital source of food for indigenous peoples and early settlers. Discover how it now serves as the backdrop for numerous parks and businesses right here in the heart of Crestwood.
