Join Prof. Val Franco for a look the varied work of Fernando Botero in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Botero, a painter and sculptor, is arguably one of Colombia’s most famous contemporary artists.  His situational paintings feature his unique, stylized large figures and this hallmark style defines his sculptural work, portraits and images of every day life. If time permits, we’ll also look at his whimsical comments on famous Renaissance and Spanish Golden Age masterpieces.
