Radical Joy is an exhibit showcasing queer-identified artists through sculpture, photography, installation and paintings. The power and appeal of art is that it has the capacity to usher viewers into any number of worlds. It tells stories that may or may not be our own, but nevertheless, there is something universal about the best works of art as they share narratives, histories and joy. From colorful textile hearts, dynamic botanical installations and effervescent laser-etched bodies on the beach -- the remarkable works in this show will catapult viewers into a vibrant collection of each artist’s expression of joy.
