Have you ever wondered how Westchester County recycles our plastic, aluminum, or glass? As part of our sustainability program, we invite our patrons on a tour at the Material Recovery Facility in North Yonkers on Stew Leonard Drive. We'll get a birds eye view of the machine that separates, sorts, and prepares materials to ship to a third-party to be turned into something new.
