Joseph Puglia

Joseph J. Puglia

Joseph has served on the Yonkers Public Library Board of Trustees since June of 2017. He also serves as a trustee of the Westchester Library System and on the advisory board of Annunciation School in Crestwood.

Joseph retired after a forty-six year career in education, having served in both the private and public sector as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. He holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Iona College, and graduate degrees in Educational Administration and World History from NYU and St. John’s University respectively.

Joseph and his wife Karen, are the parents of two grown children and grandparents to three children.
