Tech Central’s Learning Lab is the perfect setting for technology learning. Classes held in Tech Central are free and open to the public.  We offer classes on all levels of learning for all ages. For inquiries, please email Christine Bitetti, cbitetti@ypl.org.

Our local history room at the Riverfront Library is a trove of materials: photographs, posters, yearbooks, postcards, reference books, and thousands of other objects that attest to the rich history of our many communities. Please contact us with your local history questions at localhistory@ypl.org or phone 914-375-7966  to make a research appointment.

The Maker Lab is a Do-It-Yourself space where you can create and learn in a community environment.  We hold monthly craft workshops for adults and teens, including various arts & crafts, making bath bombs, lip balms, and preparing healthy snacks. The Sensory Room can help calm, focus or stimulate individuals with sensory processing challenges. The furniture, equipment and lighting will provide support to assist with self-regulation through a calming sensory experience.

The VHS Conversion Cart allows you to convert VHS videocassettes to digital files and transfer them to a flash drive or upload to the Cloud. The workstation consists of a VCR connected to a computer with Elgato software.

The Creative Studio at the Yonkers Grinton I. Will Library is a space outfitted with content creation, legacy capture, and craft equipment. It also includes state-of-the-art podcasting equipment and software and is reservable by the public with a Yonkers Public Library card. For inquiries, email Michael Walsh, mwalsh@ypl.org.

The Joan Pincus Auditorium: A 325 seat auditorium that hosts important civic events, musical performances and film screenings.
