Join me every Wednesday as I take you through the steps of creating an art journaling practice and how to benefit from it with mixed-media techniques and bookbinding to move beyond obstacles such as perfectionism and self-criticism as you find time and space to create. Every week I'll also be introducing you to new art materials.

Wednesday, Jan. 10: Grunge. What is it? Why do it and how to do it in your art journal!

You will need:

Your art journal

Matte medium or an unsticky wet glue

Acetone or nail polish remover

Magazine images a little smaller than 3" x 3"

Very strong coffee or walnut ink

Tissue paper

Black card stock cut into 3" x 3"

Baby wipes or paper towels
