STEM/Technology

STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math. These four fields share an emphasis on innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Join us for an exciting three-day adventure as we explore how to care for our planet through creativity, technology, and hands-on learning! Each day brings a unique opportunity to discover, design, and problem-solve:

Day 1: LEGO Robotics - Solving Problems When Environments Change
Explore how building in wetlands affects animals and design robotic solutions to help protect them.
Day 2: Minecraft Club - Mycelium Marvels: Protecting Paradise
Create sustainable eco-tourism trails on Mushroom Island in Minecraft Education, and learn how to support biodiversity and ecosystems.
Day 3: Science - Creating Natural Habitats - Discover the importance of natural habitats for zoo animals and use the engineering design process to build models that mimic their homes.

This program is made possible through a grant from Con Edison.
