Monday: Minecraft Club: Planet Earth - Mycelium Marvels: Protecting Paradise
In this lesson, students will design and build sustainable eco-tourism trails on Mushroom Island in Minecraft Education. This interactive experience fosters creativity, collaboration, and an understanding of ecosystems, biodiversity, and sustainable practices—helping students appreciate environmental stewardship in a fun and meaningful way.
Tuesday: Extreme Weather & Our Changing Climate + Earth Day & Upcycling
Students will learn about Earth Day's history and significance while exploring how climate change impacts our world. Through interactive discussions and activities, they’ll gain insights into extreme weather patterns and the importance of upcycling as a sustainable practice.
Wednesday: LEGO Spike Essentials - SPIKE Arctic Explorers: Code Your Way Home
Students will embark on an Arctic adventure using the LEGO® SPIKE™ Essential kit. This STEM-based lesson introduces fundamental programming and navigation concepts as they code a snowmobile robot to traverse icy terrains. The activity enhances computational thinking, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills through engaging, hands-on challenges.
